The Mission of the Junior League of Tampa Founded in 1926, the Junior League of Tampa, Inc. is an organization of over 1600 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Reaching Out Statement The Junior League of Tampa reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Commitment to our Community For 84 years, The Junior League of Tampa has been committed to building a healthier, more educated and safer community for Tampa Bay's children and their families. The 1600+ members currently provide more than 60,000 hours of service to the community each year, while spending nearly $250,000 annually on JLT projects.
