The Junior League of Tampa
2021-2022 was a year of impact. Ready to Achieve 2021-2022 was a year of impact. Ready to Achieve hosted 20+ hours of personal skills training for youth in foster care. Girl Power! led 10 empowerment workshops for girls 11-17. Love Bundles distributed more than 2000 bundles to support children entering foster care. And Kids Connect hosted 3 milestone events for families and children in the child welfare system.
2021-2022 was a year of discovery. Our Provisional 2021-2022 was a year of discovery. Our Provisional class jumped into their League experience with excitement and passion for the JLT Mission. We cannot wait to see these future leaders in action.
2021-2022 was a year for learning. The League cont 2021-2022 was a year for learning. The League continued its work promoting education by distributing over 27,625 books and more than 7,560 boxes of food for families, ensuring students have what they need to succeed. We also introduced a brand new event - Family Health Day which focused on promoting health literacy for the entire family. #jltampa #juniorleague #jlbettertogether #education #literacy #tampareads #yearinreview
The Sustainer of the Year is the League’s bigges The Sustainer of the Year is the League’s biggest honor, celebrating a woman who has made a deep impact in the Tampa community. From her work with the Henry B. Plant Museum and Red Cross Angels to her work on the League’s Sustainer board, Sue Cox exemplifies the JLT Mission.
