Love Bundles

The Junior League of Tampa Love Bundles Committee

We believe all kids deserve to have something of their own.

Every year more than one thousand children enter the foster care system in Hillsborough County, without any personal items of their own. They often arrive at their foster home with only the clothes on their back., and their foster parents may not have the personal items needed on hand.

The Junior League of Tampa stepped in to create the Love Bundles program in 1996. Through our program, volunteers purchase, organize and pack backpacks of essentials for children who are removed from their home due to neglect or abuse.

What is a Love Bundle?

A Love Bundle contains Clothes + PJs + Toiletries + Comfort Item. These items are packed with specific ages and genders in mind, so children and teens receive appropriate items they feel comfortable with.

Partners

The Junior League of Tampa partners with West Florida Foster Care Services and the Florida Department of Children and Families. Filling monthly orders, the League ensures our partners always have correctly sized items to give children entering foster care.
