Benefits of Membership
Additionally, Sustainers are invited to participate in variety of social, volunteer, and training activities throughout the year. Popular events include the Day at the Races, Fall Luncheon at Holiday Gift Market, Food 4 Kids Packings, and Sustainer Cocktail Party.
Sustainer of the Year – Recognizing outstanding volunteer service in a community service organization or through community service over a significant number of years.
Martha Ferman Spirit Award – Recognizing the exemplary achievement, steadfast dedication, and selfless spirit of an Active Junior League Member who will be sustaining the following year. Decision is made by President, President Elect and immediate Past President and award is given at Annual Dinner.
Sustaining members of The Junior League of Tampa have only one requirement, paying Annual Dues. Dues include $43 for membership in the Association of Junior Leagues International and are determined by member age.
- Sustainers under 65 years of age pay $160
- Sustainers 65 to 80 years of age pay $85
- Sustainers over 80 are exempt from dues
